Kathryn Janzen MSc
Associate Scientist (CMCF) and User Experience LeadAbout
Kathryn joined the CLS in 2010 after completing her Masters of Physics degree at the University of Regina. Her experience with GlueX, an international collaboration of particle physicists, left her well-prepared for the challenges of developing in-house software solutions for data collection and management at our CMCF beamlines.
Following ten years of supporting a dynamic and active user community of crystallographers at the CMCF beamlines, Kathryn expanded her role at the CLS by becoming our User Experience Coordinator. She now balances her time between continued support of the CMCF research program, and overseeing activities of our User Services Office, including the peer review process, user feedback, workshop planning, and much more.
